Liqui Moly Underseal Bitumen Black 1L - 6112

Lasting, thixotropic and rapid drying corrosion protection based on special bitumen/wax additives. After evaporation, a highly adherent, tough and resilient film remains which provides protection against environmental effects, corrosion and stone chipping.

AREAS OF APPLICATION

• For coating bare and painted surfaces, primarily on vehicle underbodies, and for touching up or supplementing existing coatings
• Mainly for after
• treatment or repair work on areas of vehicle underbodies which are hard to reach (such as angles, corners, edges, etc) in which rust tends to form

APPLICATION

• Clean the surfaces to be treated thoroughly in advance and remove rust
• The surfaces must be dry and free of wax, dirt and grease and extensively free of dust
• Shake well before use! Can be applied with the UBS Spray Gun (part no. 6219) or the Compressed Air Can Gun (part no. 6220) at an operating pressure of 3 – 4 bar depending on the desired spray pattern
• The ideal spraying distance is approx. 30 cm
• Can be applied without mist, no stringing and does not drip
• Recommended application temperature: 15 – 25 °C
  We recommend applying thin coats
• Depending on the desired layer thickness, intermediate drying should be carried out after each layer
• Do not leave containers standing open as the material will form a skin on the surface

• Recommended application temperature: 15 – 25 °C
• Do not spray onto moving parts and hot components such as mechanical joints, the engine, transmission, cardan shaft, exhaust pipe, catalytic converter and brake systems
• Shake well before use! A clogged spray gun can cause the can to burst! Note the operating instructions for the spray gun! After use, clean the spray gun using the cleaner intended for the purpose
