Description
Item Attributes: Assembly by qualified personnel required! In addition to crimp connections solder connectors are another option for linking cables together. For this purpose the stripped wire end is fed into the connector and then treated with the help of pre-heated soldering fluid. After the solder has cooled down a secure material-locking connection is made. For temperature-sensitive applications where traditional soldering is not an alternative a shrink solder connector can provide a remedy. This is heated with a heat gun melting the integrated solder ring and shrinking two lateral sealing rings coated with adhesive. The connection is soldered after heating fully insulated and mechanically relieved. Suitable as a high-quality connection for single lines or for earthing coaxial line shields.
