Item Attributes: Assembly by qualified personnel required!Application: The CIPOS® rotation angle sensors (Contactless Inductive Position Sensor) can be used in a wide range of applications under harsh environmental conditions to measure angles precisely and reliably. The CIPOS® technology used in all angle of rotation sensors is characterised in particular by its insensitivity to magnetic fields and its high temperature stability. The angle is determined inductively using a contactless and therefore wear-free method. This ensures high measurement accuracy over the entire service life. The redundant sensors (dual sensors) enable failure detection and thus higher safety of the overall system. Structure and function: In the laser-welded housing made of polyamide PA66 the rotary movement of the lever arm is determined inductively via the rotor. An ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) precisely calculates the position of the rotor. Due to a repeating characteristic of the output signal curve (depending on the sensor structure used) different installation positions can be realised.
