Hammerite Metal Paint can be applied directly onto rusty metal thanks to a formula that has been developed to be a primer, undercoat and topcoat in one. It gives a subtle satin smooth finish which provides a low sheen alternative to Hammerite Smooth Finish, whilst forming a barrier that not only seals out moisture but gives long lasting protection, both inside and out. Easy to use, apply it on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Comes in satin black in a 400ml aerosol. First developed by Allen Forster in 1962, Hammerite paint was one of the first of its kind, in the world of metal specific paints. After a long period within the industry, Hammerite was acquired in 1998 by ICI, the paints specialists. Hammerite has consistently worked towards developing their brands and now boasts a wide portfolio of products to cater to all of their customer’s metal painting needs.
