TECHNICAL DATA
| Ford 1.0 GTDi Ecoboost and 1.1 Ti-VCT naturally aspirated engines feature a ‘floating’ Crankshaft Sprocket. The sprocket is not located by a keyway and is free to rotate on the Crankshaft when the Crankshaft Pulley Bolt is loosened. Any movement of the Crankshaft Sprocket will result in a loss of engine timing. To prevent unwanted movement during normal operation the Crankshaft Pulley Bolt is installed to a very high torque loading. To ensure that the bolt is removed and installed correctly a 5 | 1 Torque Multiplier with associated Mounting Brackets must be used. C6160 Torque Multiplier Set has been developed to aid removal and installation of the Crankshaft Pulley Bolt on this range of engines. |
