Autoparts Car Giveaway Terms & Conditions  

 

  1. The Promoter 

  1. Arnold Clark Automobiles Limited, a company incorporated and registered in Scotland with company number SC036386 whose registered office is at 454 Hillington Road, Glasgow, G52 4FH, trading as Arnold Clark Autoparts. 

 

  1. The Competition  

  1.  The title of the Competition is Win the use of a brand-new electric courtsey car for a year.   

  1. The Prize winners will be the named Arnold Clark Autoparts Trade customers as stated on the relevant order confirmation. 

  1. The Opening Date of the Competition is 2nd June 2025 at 09:00am and the Closing Date is 31st July 2025 at 23:59pm (the “Term”).  

  1. All entries received from the Opening Date are automatically entered into the draw. 

  1. All 61 prizes will be randomly selected by the Promoter. The Promoter will collate a list of confirmed purchases, and the winners will be selected at random from this list. The Promoter will use a randomiser which will produce an entry at random from the total number of entries.   

  1. The Grand Prize (as defined in Clause 5.1) winner will be drawn from all entries received by the Promoter after the Competition’s Closing Date, excluding winning entries from any previous weekly draws from the Opening Date of the Competition.  

  1. Winners of the Other Prizes (as defined in Clause 5.3) will be drawn weekly from the Opening Date until the Closing Date, from all entries received by the Promoter, excluding winning entries from any previous weekly draws from the Opening Date of the Competition.   

 

  1. How to enter  

  1. The Competition will run from 09:00am on the Opening Date and end at 23:59pm on the Closing Date.  

  1. To enter the Competition, Arnold Clark Autoparts Trade customers must purchase a Yuasa or Goliath battery. Upon purchase, customers will be automatically entered into the Competition. Customers must receive an order confirmation for their entry to be considered valid. 

  1. For the avoidance of doubt, receipt of the prizes by the winners is subject to them completing the battery purchase. Cancelled or returned orders will not be included as entries. 

  1. Each battery purchased counts as one entry, so multiple entries are allowed per customer. 

  1. By entering into the Competition, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.  

  1. Eligibility  

  1. Any Arnold Clark Autoparts Trade customers who have purchased a Yuasa or Goliath battery during the Term. 

 

  1. The prizes 

  1. One winner will receive the use of a Peugeot e-2008 SUV for 12 months as a courtesy car for the winner’s business (the “Grand Prize”). Other uses of the car may be allowed at the absolute discretion of the Promoter. 

  1. The Grand Prize winner will be required to complete additional documentation to claim the prize and to arrange appropriate insurance at their own cost. Failure to complete the necessary documentation or meet any applicable conditions may result in forfeiture of the prize. 

  1. In addition to the Grand Prize, the following prizes (the “Other Prizes”) will be available to be won as part of the Competition: 

  1. 5 x Milwaukee radios; 

  1. 5 x Milwaukee Impact Wrench Kits; 

  1. 20 x Goodmans Aspect soundbars; 

  1. 20 x Kitvision Escape 4k UHD Action Camera; 

  1. 10 x Yuasa Workshop Battery Testing Kits. 

  1. The prizes are supplied by the Promoter.  

  1. The prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable, and no cash alternative is available. 

 

  1. Winners  

  1. The Promoter will contact the winners personally as soon as practicable using the contact details provided by the customer via their order. 

  1. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact winners. If a winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not claimed their prize within 30 days of initially being contacted by the Promoter, the prize will no longer be offered to the winner. For the avoidance of doubt, any prizes not claimed by a winner within the specified timeframe will no longer be available to the winner and may be awarded to another randomly selected Competition entrant. 

 

  1. Claiming the prizes 

  1. The Grand Prize must be collected in person by the winner from Autoparts Glasgow on a date agreed with the Promoter. Collection is subject to the winner completing all required documentation and providing satisfactory evidence of appropriate insurance cover. The Promoter reserves the right to withhold the Grand Prize until all such conditions have been met. 

  1. The Other Prizes will be delivered to the UK address provided by each confirmed winner within 30-days of confirmation. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for prizes that are lost, delayed or undeliverable due to inaccurate or incomplete delivery details supplied by the winner, or due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control. 

  1. Prizes may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf unless otherwise agreed by the Promoter.  

  1. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up a prize. 

 

  1. Publicity 

  1. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation, the Promoter will publish the surname and city of prize winners and, if applicable, their winning entries on the Promoter's site and/or social media channels after all winners are notified.  

  1. The winners will be asked if their names and images can be used in any publicity materials, however, the winners have the right to object. If the winners consent, their image can be used by the Promoter for three years before it is deleted.  

  1. If the winners object to any or all of their surnames, city and winning entry being published or made available, the winners must contact the Promoter Callum.Blair@arnoldclark.com. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.  

  1. If a customer wishes to opt out of the Competition, the customer can email Callum.Blair@arnoldclark.com to request to be removed from the Competition.   

 

  1. Limitation of liability  

  1. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate a winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up a prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.  

 

  1. Data Protection 

  1. The Promoter will process the email address you provide when purchasing a battery in order to randomly select the Competition’s winners. If you win, the Promoter will use your email address and, where necessary, collect and process your name and/or telephone number for the purposes of contacting you, arranging delivery or collection of a prize, and facilitating prize fulfilment. 

  1. The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the https://www.arnoldclarkautoparts.com/pages/privacy-policy . Any personal data relating to the winners or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with the UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.  

 

  1. General  

  1. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the Competition.  

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Competition where it becomes necessary to do so.  

  1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Scotland, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
