Tight tolerances, the compliance of which we ensure with modern manufacturing technology, enable us to meet our strict quality requirements.
We achieve these requirements through strict measurements and various tests – after the individual production steps and at the end of the entire process. We use state-of-the-art measuring technology and long-term testing systems, as well as practical routine testing by hand.
To ensure that our pliers meet your expectations and our high demands, we only use selected steel alloys that have been rolled according to our specifications.

71 31 160 SB KNIPEX CoBolt® S Extremely high cutting performance in a convenient length of 160 mm. Small, slim head for excellent accessibility. Compact and powerful: cuts bolts, nails, rivets etc Heavy duty, induction-hardened cutting edge for thin, hard wire, screws and springs. Cutting edge hardness approx. 64 HRC. Less physical effort due to efficient lever action mechanism. No slipping of the material to be cut due to lasered cutting edge. With gripping surface below the joint for gripping and pulling wires from Ø 1.0 mm. Blades with recess for easier cutting of larger cross-sections thanks to better leverage close to the fulcrum. - Cutting capacities soft wire (diameter): Ø 5.3mm- Cutting capacities medium hard wire (diameter): Ø 4.8mm- Cutting capacities hard wire (diameter): Ø 3.6mm- Cutting capacities piano wire (diameter): Ø 3.3mm
