Insulated crimp connectors are crimped at the coloured end with an appropriate tool to make a secure firm contact with the cable. The insulation material is either PVC (max. temperature rating of 80°C) or nylon (max. 105°C). The insulating sleeve has a special "easy-entry" funnel shape to ensure better insertion of the cable. Identification colour red: Crimp connector for cable cross-section 0.5 - 1.0 mm². Identification colour blue: Crimp connector for cable cross-section 1.5 - 2.5 mm². Identification colour yellow: Crimp connector for cable cross-section 4.0 - 6.0 mm².
