For this road-legal track-focused tyre we’ve gone a step further with the tread design used on our ContiSportContact™ 5 P. Employing wide grooves in the centre of the tread and adding bi-directional drainage grooves on the inside helps the tyre shift water for supremely surefooted handling in wet conditions.
Precision road holding
The sturdy blocks on the edge of the tyre guarantee engine power is transmitted directly to the road surface. Meanwhile, transverse grooves ensure the tyre hugs the road’s surface. This results in wonderfully precise steering with increased grip during extreme driving.
Gripping performance
The special high-grip resins in Continental’s patented Black Chili compound ensure the tyre meshes with the road surface. The result is superb adhesion in dry conditions which on a track translates to faster lap times.
